1 - Too conservative. WTF is that all about ?



2 - Yere's tackle on Donlan was a bad one. Absolutley crunching hit but followed through to spear him. Should have been red carded.



3 - Why did we not make it an easy 8-8 when we had clear momentum ? Really poor decision. We was not playing well enough to score at that time, and wiping out the deficit would have given us renewed momentum.



4 - Leigh caught completely cold for the quickfire 2 tries. Fast asleep, the lot of them.



5 - Ridyard and Ellis very poor again.



But - Still a great season and good luck to Sheffield. Quite obvious the Quartet of Henderson, Yere, Pappa and Tongaae were the ones to watch. The team tonight could not handle them !



Really hoping for a backer, but I really fear the worse. The team in the last 5 weeks is completely different to the team pre NR cup.

Out enthused in 2 semi finals? Bad man management, very bad man management and team spirit. Lets just colour out for the season, let whoever wants to go go and just pray we have a team this time next year. But the team this past month and a half has been shocking. Tonight has been the first time in excess of 12 months that I've not made the final hooter.

The Watcher as always is looking on the bright side, at least he has saved £16 not having to buy a GF ticket.

the main turning point in our season was our coach who so called loves the club confirmed he was going to castleford a week before the start of the playoffs. The guy couldn't even be d to go on the sideline during the game. Dukes has been doing his job for him the last 4 weeks but i bet he hasn't been picking up millwards wage. No club next year now in my eyes. Who would want to take up a club who cant go anywhere for at least 3 years?

Agree with that! The wife kept telling me all season millward only came back to find a job in S/L and tonight i had to agree!

Why as it all gone wrong with a team that's been outstanding all season? This tonight

was a shocker, and whatever plan they had, if they had one didn't exist.At least the box is ticked

and we can do a widnes for the next 3 years.It seems all the good work has been in vein

WELL what about this performance tonight? What about the fans

who keep being asked repeatedly to support the club? for what eh for what? Well i,ll tell you what,to feed sooper dooper league.with good players we nurture to move on and what are we going to hear time after time? we've ticked a box we've ticked a box,well i,ll tell you when we,ll get in super league NEVER.

so what do you expect him to do- stay with a club with no backer- get real.



he has coached us to only 4 defeats all season,

But to announce it a week before the play offs is wrong.... do you agree?

I believe our coach had a watertight contract and could only leave with our permision.Being paraded in a Cas scarf was another stupid move by the club, do the deal and announce it after the season or at least stop him being dressed in Cas colours for the cameras. I cant recall Rhino in a Fax shirt whilst Batley were in the comp.



We have so much to look forward to next year the big money for our level paid to Basil, Bibey, Paul, Hill, Higson, Maden, Duffy will not be hanging around our necks, yes we are still stuck with PR's contract but I understand some £200k was tied up with these and we can fill the gaps at less than 50% of the cost imho.



We will have a club next year but we now need to be open, really open with the fans because it will be the fans who ensure survival as I understand the white knight is no more.



We can run a very competitive team next year, the revenue gap can be overcome but we need action now.

Bad management, it's a miracle we won the NR cup mainly due to amazing man management. You have a group of players who have to forget about winning bonuses. Would you be happy going to work tomorrow not getting what you earned.



Unfortunately our season got derailed when AT business went under, since then Ian and the players have been amazing.



Too many injured players trying to keep us going today with no real go forward.



I feel Ridy and Ellis form dipped when Robbie returned.



All things said amazing season with us winning the best competition. It's evident we aren't really taking these play offs seriously ever since they mean nothing!!!!



Certainly did Widnes no harm not getting to a GF, I'm off to load up the national lottery website I could be the new owner tomorrow night!!

He may have only lost 4 games but two of them were the most important! we needed money for next season from the G/F. and i still say he let us down AGAIN!
