Mike Rush was asked this on Wednesday, and he said simply 'no'. After the Morley & Johns saga's the RFL changed the rules so it's no longer possible for teams to bring players over just for the playoffs. Also, we're right on the cap, so we couldn't anyway.

i dont want to doubt you, but how are we right on cap? Scully, fozzard, bennett, talau, plus smith and tyrers wages covered of this year and just tony p in, thats 4 capped players out and 1 in. Obviously jammer/robes and some kids got improved deals, but that much?

I'm pretty sure McManus said earlier in the year that we had space on the salary cap, if the correct player came available, however, we wouldn't be signing people for the sake of it.
