Just to add further rumour to the existing ones, yesterday in a taxi from the Harry pool bar on route to the Crown pub (Holdernes rd), we struck up a conversation with the driver who informed us that his previous passenger who apparently had some connection with the club, had said that Mr Alams son was taking over the reigns at the club and an announcement would be forthcoming at the same time as plans for the south stand were revealed, of course it could be just another rumour among rumours but it does set the mind wondering.

By the way, when we got to the Crown pub it was shut and had a notice on the door saying closed until Monday, does anyone know the reason for this?.

Because it's rubbish.

I have to say, so is the lager in the Mill pub Utter gash imo, it was like drinking cold milkless tea.
