Darren, you cannot be serious with this thread, do you really think the players aren't trying??? If we were gettin beat/hammered by big scores then i'd be worried, but come on, we've lost all but 2 games by the odd point or five, even St's with a virtual full squad only beat us by 22 point, and i've been to a lot worse when we've had great squads.

I'm getting really p!ssed off with all these threads about players not trying/couldn't care/they're lazy/and who would you like to get rid of ??

I don't believe there is one player in the team at the mo who isn't workin his backside off to get the next win and if it doesn't come in the next game or even further into the season IMHO it won't be down to lack of effort.

Just support the lads and if you think they are shlt then don't go, but just don't slag them off because things aren't going right at the mo.

what goes around comes around and it won't be long before all the moaners are singing the clubs praises again, that is until the next blip.

TBF when have we ever taken any notice of what Garry Schofield thinks of us? We would have given up a long time ago if it was for him!!!

Here, here, at least the moaners aren't going to be there on Saturday so we should have a relatively peaceful day away from idiots slagging players and coaching staff off constantly as last Friday night!!



We are struggling to fill one coach after taking two to Saints, never mind the car will have to come out instead, but I will still be there!!!

That's your opinion and you're entitled to it.



However, I've seen teams putting the effort in and, in general, many of our players aren't. Look at the defensive line speed, kick chase, off the ball running and support play. These are all indicators of whether a team is giving 100% effort and they're all areas we're lacking.

well said that man (ian fc) to say the lads are'nt putting the effort in is ludicrous,personnally i beleive it to be poor gameplan and team orders,that the players have to stick to however boringand readable it is,,i know for a fact that when hull lose they get no support from the club and coaching staff working how to improve things and what went wrong,that is poor profesionalism just going away to lick your wounds and leaving the lads to ponder on what happened just isnt good enough,,,we need a shake up and replace our coaching staff and dare i say our coach,,,

Without an inspirational coach we will never go forward,listening to him after the Wakefield match i thought he was going to fall asleep in between his slurps of his drink.Think the team as got it,but i am afraid Mr Agar can't inspire them.Ok when we were winning but a good coach comes to the fore when the going gets tough.(Oh and a top class scrum half would help)

I've already said that the bulk of our squad is good enough to do well, though I do think certain players have had their day. That being said, we are in the position we are in because of poor coaching/tactics and, in my opinion, lack of effort from some of our players.



When it takes until 60 minutes into a derby game before the team starts to play, you know there's a problem with motivation.

thats my take on things, the squad are good enough to do reasonably well, but not quite good enough to win things. A decent coach would be getting loads more out of the limited players in our squad.
