Dear fans of Wakefield Trinity Wildcats.



The last few weeks have seen some very anxious times but thankfully Mr Andrew Glover through Spirit of 1873 will prove to be our saviour. I would like to say thank you to Ted Richardson for bringing us thus far, even if it did go a little wrong at the end. So now for the future. We have a new owner and in a few months the Wakefield Trinity Supporters Trust will be up and running. So some people have done their bit , it is now time for the stay away fans to do their bit , to those who have said I am not doing anything till Ted goes then now is the time to show you are true to your word, to buy season tickets, club merchandise , to sponsor a player if you are able, to take a hospitality package for a game, the season, to bring a friend or friends . If we all do our bit, however big or small then we can all help make OUR CITy proud of OUR TEAM. Wakefield Trinity Wildcats, pride of Sporting Wakefield , Together We Are Stronger.

Has Ted deffinatly gone from your club then, does he have no part at all to play in the new setup. I know people have said he has now gone but I have not read anything official anywhere to confirm this, I am sure you are correct that he has gone but the fact that the new consortium has not been named just puts a bit of doubt in my mind.

Oh come on - we've got new owners, we're in SL and we have a lot of pride in the club. Are you not guilty of being more focused on being anti-Ted than you are of supporting the club you love. Let it go and move on - as others have!

I would imagine that ted with being a director, means he is gone. The others will be harder to dislodge, they as employees will be covered by TUPE, so it will be down to the new owner to determine there worth. If they pull their weight they'll be ok if not, it should be bye bye!

After all they won't have daddy looking out for them anymore, it will be interesting to see how their colleagues deal with them now Ted has gone.

I see the need for Mr Glover to to clarify the situation, if only to promote income, and then as TRB said it's time to move on.

What I'm meaning ( & it came out wrong as I'd been hammering the rioja a bit yesterday ) is I'd like to have it confirmed that my money's going to the new regime and not paying anything off to the old one .

I would hope that many things will start to become clearer over the course of the next few days and weeks.



Everyone at the club now has a massive job to do in becomming part of an organisation that is worthy of a place at the top table of our sport. More supporters = more revenue and a better club all round - add that to the financial stability and, possibly, investment, that Andrew will bring and we can start looking up for the first time in a while.



We had some good times with Ted, we had plenty of bad ones, but we're still here and so is our club!

ted took this club to near oblivion and took you for a bloody fool. good times as you call them nearly killed the club.

I think what he's saying is ITS TIME TO MOVE ON, whats gone has gone and we need to look to the future, if we are all going to live in the past we may as well pack it in.



Lets move on and face the future not trip ourselfs up looking back.

The simple fact is that Ted kept this club alive when no-one else was prepared to do so, and whilst I have to agree with a lot of the recent criticism that has been levelled at him, the simple fact is, that without Ted Richardson, WE WOULD NO LONGER EXIST, never mind still be in SL.

That doesn't give him the right to take us into oblivion!

Each argument holds as much water, the fault lies when Ted was given the opportunity to go he didn't, and that left us in much worse position.

Don't disagree but he's gone now, going around in circles is futile.
