No doubt it will be like Hull FC, when a new company was formed, they dropped the name Sharks (not sure if it was the same with Halifax Blue Sox or not), leave off the suffix and it doesn't matter whether the wildcats bit is dropped or not.

That was our first attempt which was pretty good but we liked the one we are using better. Modern but I like the 1873 so we never forget our history.
Also I dont think we have dropped the "Wildcats" tag. I can see the marketing potential but the Club will always be WAKEFIELD TRINITY to me. |
