so why can my under 11 not transfer???? and what is the feb deadline?

Mutts young 'un only had a problem because of the club he was leaving , but it's in the handbook that there's no problem with players transferring throughout the season . Look on Yorkshire juniors webpage and look at constitution - can't see why you're having a problem .

The Feb deadlines under 12's - I think it's may 31'st for under 9's,10's, 11's .

but the 12's season finished...they are not under contract so should be free to move anywhere...i have read the rules and there is no mention of under 11's playing under 12 not being allowed to move..football is different, when they move to under 11 to play 11 a side no under 10 can play..

I'm lost now ( had a half tbh ) - but thought you're lad was transferring from under 11's to u11's - if he's u12's to u11's I can see why there's a complication . I'll read the book in the morning , but there's so many contradictions I don't know how the league hasn't imploded already !

spongebob..already read it and spoken to charlie bray...he calls it an "unwritten rule" also appeal goes to him to present to the management committee ??? dictatorship and to me he does not operate in the "child's" best interest which is probs illegal! waiting for my mum to get home from holiday to check the legals...

" the Childs best interest " is surely to let him play ! Think there's one or twopeople need their heads banging together by the sound of it - when I've got my head screwed on in the morning I'll have a read , seems barmy to me that he can't transfer ( only 3 games left now though anyway ).

and you would know we have had more than 3 transfers because you have looked on the junior website which is wrong has they have a couple of players down on their which actually transfered to our u12s not u11s.



for the record we have had 3 transfers 1 from fev lions and 2 from stanley and also picked up a player from selby warriors who was free to play where he liked after they folded before a game was played.



has for your lad i can kind of see why their is a problem,if he played the full season at u12s he would have played through the winter whilst u11s were on the winter break now u12s are finished thats when he should be taking his break.by dropping down to u11s he could get another two months rugby and then in theory re-sign at his old club has an u13 player which isnt the case but im sure somewhere in the past its been done and makes a mockery of the system.

i can see why now ive got my head round things , like brayton says if hes a had a full year at 12s then his seasons allegiance is 12s . im not saying its right but it does stop say the entire under 11s signing up for the 12s during winter . im afraid your son is victim to others abuse .



all this could be averted if all clubs voted for change

Anyhow , tremendous game yesterday at stanningley which ended 10 all . Crigg went into a 10-0 lead in the 1 st half but then stanningley came back strong at the start of the second and levelled it up . Perfect result as neither team deserved to lose & the defensive efforts of the lads was fantastic .

It was mentioned in the after match presentation that you'd of quite happily paid to watch the game it was that good - well done everyone involved

fantastic match best ive seen in this group , rough tough skill that belittled their ages . every player stepped up for crigg
