What i dont understand is why he isnt losing weight, i cant see no difference in him at all. The weight should be falling off him. Its a joke.

Yeah, you would think he would have been involved in some kind of fitness boot camp. Alot of our players seemed to be unfit yesterday ! What I cant understand is why would you play him if he wasnt fit enough to make the initial squad, ok i understand higgins pulled out last minute, but why not move pj back to prop and bring spiers in as a second row (or is he injured ?).

can't see any reason why we shouldn't be the fittest team. we have spent most of the last 4 matches stood at the back of our posts........



fwiw, playing hickey for 16mins total yesterday was a joke. both jarrod and kear should be equally responsible (1 for been so unfitm the other for picking him)

You are spot on, we are effectively playing with 16.5 players instead of 17.

I've been trying to be the voice of reason about him and saying we are being a bit harsh on him but he's run out of time as far as I'm concerend.

I'd rather have Hendo as a prop, or get a loan player, or play a kid.......or even play with 3 props doing more work....but not Hickey until he gets his rather large belly down the gym.

I too think he could be a good player and its a big shame he arrived in the condition he did. Lets hope its just first season syndrome. Remember when Wigan fans wanted rid of Pat Richards and Warrington fans were disappointed with Mat King first season. A few games in the U20 maybe should have been the preferred route for Mr Hickey to the first team

Feline, its a "big disgrace" and he won't be with us next season anyway, PR and MK were both close to "world class" so don't hold you're breath with player like Hickey.

Another 15mins or so match time against Saints - what good is that for Wakefield ?? I dont know whos most at fault - Kear still playing him or Hickys state of fitness !! The buck stops with the player tho - its a discrace the state he has come over in with all that time waiting for his VISA !!
