Problem has been resolved - apparently it was just for this game only - normal bus service will be resumed for matches.

If I remember rightly last time we played Hunslet in a friendly we used the mini bus. Mainly because mojority of the players live on the M62 corridor, pointless travelling to Keighley go back again. Also why shell out for a bus costing the club a small fortune when there is transport already at the club.

Have been assured that the this is a one off and that Cougars have secured a deal with Fourways which includes sponsorship coach to every away match including a double decker to the welsh and london games. i.e players and fans on the bus, Also Cougars will have the Rhinos Executive bus if the Rhinos are not using it, big step forward for the Club, secured by Peter Spencer

I would have thought that such a significant coup as this would have been much better being announced on the club's website first rather than being 'leaked' on here.

I'm sure it was, but not really very professional is it. I think that it would have been better on the website, perhaps with a picture with Freddie, a bus, some officials from both parties etc etc rather than asking someone to post it on a gossip forum. Just my personal thoughts but it makes us look a bit amateurish.

I still stand by my views that this whole bus fiasco has made us look amateurish and this alleged deal with fourways is a missed marketing opportunity (to me it will remain an alleged deal until I read/hear it from an OFFICIAL source) - a view shared by others at the start of the thread (maybe they are in the right clique??)

I agree with you Rach, but now that it appears that an alleged ACTUAL DEAL has been done as opposed to just floating an idea about as on the thread you mentioned, I feel it could have been launched/released more effectively.



Perhaps if we still had Helen it would have been a bit different (or any sort of commercial management in place for that matter)
