I'm really sorry but that's an embarrassment and makes us look worse then amateurish.

The urgency of the situation is apparent but I agree with Andrew completely, transport is a very basic need and so a post asking for a driver is an absolute embarrassment and presents us as unprofessional and unorganized, if there is a reason for requesting a driver for the first team in a few days e.g the regular driver is ill etc then please state this to prevent the club from looking so bad, if not then god help us!

1. Employ enough staff qualified to drive a minibus (or train them) for an away game

2. Get in to the championship

3. Make sure the club's defibrillator is in date (it's a year since the farce involving Saints reserves)

4. Put a team together that's capable of either winning the NRC or reach the Championship Grand Final

5. More than double attendences despite an apathetic local public blighted by the recession.

6. Declare Keighley as an independent nation so we be classed as an expansion club

7. Turnover £1m a season

8. Deliver a stadium with modern facilities that can hold more than 10,000 fans, when we have a previous history of fiscal problems in the midst of the worst banking crisis in 70 years

9. And then leave the actual decision to whether we go up or not in the hands of the RFL (who we all know make decisions at random)

to be honest, I dont think its too much to ask, they could be short of a driver for ANY reason.

if I wasn't working at Cas today I would have done it for you/them..

Problem has been resolved - apparently it was just for this game only - normal bus service will be resumed for matches.

If I remember rightly last time we played Hunslet in a friendly we used the mini bus. Mainly because mojority of the players live on the M62 corridor, pointless travelling to Keighley go back again. Also why shell out for a bus costing the club a small fortune when there is transport already at the club.

Have been assured that the this is a one off and that Cougars have secured a deal with Fourways which includes sponsorship coach to every away match including a double decker to the welsh and london games. i.e players and fans on the bus, Also Cougars will have the Rhinos Executive bus if the Rhinos are not using it, big step forward for the Club, secured by Peter Spencer
