| Getting rid of Higham was never a mistake.
He was an error ridden player who was one of the worst penalty conceders in the game.
His supposed forte was making metres from his scoots, which he didn't do.
He did kiss the badge though so I suppose that made him good.

I wouldn't be suprised if he does the same at wire.

Totally agree, but for some reason not many don't see it like it is.

Agreed - like I said for fun, considering the amount of supporters Higham had on here. He had positives but outweighed by significant negatives of errors and penalties that are evident from the stats at Warrington.
Piggy is an undoubted upgrade, but one that in my view is still underachieving given his reputation. His predictability worries me, his distribution is good from dummy half but he relies on it far too much. He has an advantage of surprising pace for his size that isn't used enough to challenge defences to make decisions that could open gaps out wide or lead to more breaks for him personally. Don't know whether fitness or coaching is the issue.

| Noble could start with Gleeson back at centre, after the game Friday he said he'd be fit for Catalans. Pryce to bench.
Phelps,
Roberts, Gleeson, Carmont, Richards,
Sam, Tommy,
Prescott, Riddell, Coley,
Bailey, Mossop,
Joel. Bench - Feka, Fielden, Pryce, Flanagan.
When Riddell is interchanged, Tommy to 9, Sam to 7 and Gleeson to 6 with Pryce off the bench to 3. With 20 to go Tommy or Sam to bench and Flanagan on.
We are getting thin on the ground now.
Catalans have that massive pack and this will be a real test for our forwards.

| The good thing from Friday was that BOTH our hookers outplayed Chad Randall, who has IMO been the standout hooker in Superleague this season.

www.wigantoday.net/warriors/Moss ... 5431326.jp
Mossop may be called back this week and Smith looks to be done for the year(well for ever in a Wigan shirt).
Lockers out for upto a month according to that which if rumour on here is anything to go by is very good news.
I think we need to be looking round for a short term signing or 2 if possible with Hock's Money and possibly Smith's if they choose to release him.
Give Kidwell a short term deal to try and earn himself a deal for next year if he's out of favour at Souths

| Terrific news if O'Loughlin is back for the semi-final.
Being without Hansen isn't exactly a disappointment when we have other young players who need game time.

Rather than make too many changes if we are really struggling I wouldn't have any problems putting him in the first team.

Agree with this. Really don't see the point of making 3 or 4 positional changes in the backs to accomodate Leuluai at 9, especially if we have to make backrow changes as well because of Hansen and Locky out.
Keep the backs as they are and give Gee his chance and just ask him to keep it simple. If they don't think he' ready I'd give Flanagan a go at back-up 9, just so we don't have to play musical chairs in the backs with the inevitable disruption it will cause.
He should have the mobility and passing to do it as a back-up, again with the plan for him to keep it simple when on.
