We are in talks with Wakey about loaning them players according to NB

Tony Smith is being put up for sainthood for saying he will loan players. Meanwhile the giants are actually working with wakey to make it happen.



Furthermore there is a limit on the number of loaned players. There is every chance that clubs, including the Giants, will transfer players to wakey for tiny transfer fees.



Sadly some wakey fans will continue to blame the Giants rather than the real people at fault.

Transfer for tiny fees? On a permanent basis?

if possible, i'd like us to get kirmond on a permanent deal.

I don't think you should be looking at it like that because what we're effectively talking about is a way round the rules regarding loans to help Wakey out short term. Realistically Wakey are now not going to get a franchise. It's about letting them have more players than normally allowed via loans so they have enough players to complete the season.



What I'm interested in is how this could be done.



Also, I think it would send DK the wrong message allowing him to go back and I don't think he would be happy at all.

It's nothing to do with the Giants. Our former leaders got us in this mess and I for one will accept any help we can get as long as we can get out of this mess.

Got to agree with Danril. DK should be allowed his shot at a regular first team spot he did all the hard graft with us last year and deserves a go at it. It would be a kick in the teeth for the lad. Which lads do you think may come our way..?

Let's see what the Wakey board has to say now...

Whatever deal we do it's got to be benefiial for both clubs, Wakey in allowing them to put out a team and the Giants in that it gives fringe players the opportunity to gain SL experience.



If they are good enough to improve our team, they get to come back and play for the C&G, simples.

Sending fringe players to wakey is a win win situation!



our players get SL experience and wakey get time to build up their squad natrally rather then having to buy in a number of over the hill has beens and never was's.



TBH if all the squad members that dont play SL this year, (who are in the first team @ SL clubs) where to request a couple of matches at wakey they would have numbers to fill 4 teams.
