I heard today that only Doncaster will be relegated , Dont know the reason why, was just wondering if anyone else had also heard this .

Keeps cropping up this.



I want us to stay up on merit.

I would say thank you very much. Said it b4 that it was stupid relegating 2 teams from 10 clubs. Its been a good competitive league this season from top to bottom apart from Doncaster. I don't subscribe to "its given us an interest" upto now, because 3 going down would also have done that - don't mean its fair tho.



Tho would be good to finish outside bottom 2.

I ve also heard this but unless it anounced offically Im taking it that if we finish next to bottom we are going down

Unless Gateshead finish next to bottom I cant see them changing it, unless they are having 12 in next year, and for obvious reasons like spoiling the playoffs they cant say aanything yet.

Quite a few people have heard this rumour would like to know where it started

It could have legs so to speak as 11 teams has'nt worked out very well really with 2 from 10 of us sent packing,anybody in Yorkshire heard the same rumour or is it just us Leythers clutching at straws

I think most Leythers would prefer us to stay up on merit but the effort put in by our players on Sunday and our previous two games gives me hope.



The Championship 1 GF would be dissppointing for the winners however. but in my opinion, I,d rather the two leagues were amalgamated as I have suggested before to give all clubs more league games and much needed revenue.

I don't care how we stay up although like everyone else I'd like it to be on merit.



However I have a feeling the club may know they weren't going to be relegated and that is why people are signing for us. That would make sense for sure but I'd prefer to survive legitimately.

I assure you the former international half back signed from down under will play in whatever league we are in.

They'd still have to promote 2 to make it 12 teams.

You know the RFL - why would they just promote two, when they could relegate three, (but not necessarily the bottom three!) and promote five, via a series of complicated play-offs?!

Whilst anyone supporting Leigh would welcome this I'm sure it would be more fair (yes, I know that word doesn't exist in RL anymore) if 3 clubs came up and we still had 2 down from the Championship.



Then again I still believe all clubs should play under the same rules & regulations, so what do I know

i have also heard this rumour.....i hope you guys dont go down, however to run a league like this, if the rumour is true its a joke!



any other sport and i'd say "thatl never happen!" but then you 4get whos running the league!



theyl make some excuse to keep gatehead in....and this could well save you guys,



and i think if it happens it will be decided already and just hasnt been released
