In a way I wish it was possible for a double header Sat, Pies v Saints and us v Leeds on Saturday evening, it wouldnt be posssible though.

Well it's turning into a farce now, all the clubs are waiting for the dates so they can market this game whilst the BBC and Wigan take their time in thrashing it out.



Wigan were well aware that this situation could arise and should have made contingency plans for it - and so were the BBC......and what were the RFL thinking in playing this round on the weekend of the final day of the football season anyway?



It's a total disgrace.

Has anyone thought that they may be seriously considering postponing these ties till a later date. Just a thought.

A week later wouldnt be a problem so why dont they just announce this so that all fans can organise things. The longer this goes on the more RL will be regarded as a joke.

I doubt it TV slots are booked.

The whole competition held to ransom due to the actions of one man no longer connected to the sport......and all because the planners of our game treat our oldest, and most famous competition as an afterthought to all things SDL!!!

How does that work if all 4 matches are due to be televised??.......and what about our 'cut' of the TV money??

Best it's not on TV as more people will come and watch the game...

It may not be the glamour tie but I can't see why sky wouldn't want to show it if on a Friday, ok it maybe a walk over (for us

) but Fev did the Championship proud against SL teams, why should we be any different? Everyone loves an underdog, and Leeds are world champs.

But would we then miss out on the TV money? Don't know how much it is but I doubt we'd get enough extra's on to replace it.
