Rhino is a man with principles and even though our fans were asking for the name of the new coach he refused to be named till after Batley left the Comp` .Also Rhino would not be wearing a Fev shirt as he`s signed for Fax and we are very glad to have him.

I've watched Leigh on & off for nearly 60 years. In that time the club has limped from one crisis to another. Quite often they have collapsed just before the end of the season. Coaches have walked out and Chairmen have left at short notice.

This present crisis is possibly the worst I've witnessed and I fear for the clubs future. Whether a new chairman & coach are found is anybody's guess. However it appears that with only 1800 fans prepared to attend then the public of Leigh do not care if the club exists or not.

A sad day for Leigh RLFC.

The whole sport is in danger, as a comparison Leigh got roughly 75% of their average crowd tonight how does that stack up against Wigan and Leeds last week. No doubt sky will tell us the game is much stronger than pre SL. take a look at 1994, half a dozen comps to win, competitive international game played in front of big crowds. Meanwhile in 2011 2 comps to win and the rest......

I've had enough of Leigh RLFC! Moved home to Lincolnshire a few years ago and now am a Sheffield Eagles season ticket holder. So in a strange way it was a good night after all.

The news of Millward wasn't the start of this it was Arthurs departure that was the begining. Also if we had not put the news about him going to Cas they were going to the next day. They had the right hump with us over it. Anyone with any knowledge of team sport could see that we were winning and playing average rugby compared to how we were at the begining of the season. The zip went just after Arthur going and it didn't really return. We were beaten by a poor side tonight and I'm gutted. I couldn't clap the lads off tonight I was that gutted and it's the second time this season. The first was last thursday. Maybe I have got the same problem as the team. Lets all have a good rest and a re group.
