Just watched it thanks Fred and Mennel was right to be sent off. Nanyn was borderline to say the least but Stuart Donlan should have got 10 mins for holding down right under our sticks just after the Nanyn sinbin. Our pack was exceptional in that game and they all deservre a big up.

I thought our player side stepped him so he just threw his arm out making contact with his head ,personally didn't think he meant it ,just a reaction ,i'm not defending the issue just don't think it was meant .I haven't yet watched it again so may change my view.

I agree entirely. Not heard that nonsense at Leigh for a while and was disgusted to hear a few others join in that chant than the original idiot with the mullet. It's a complete embarrassment and we need to get these people banned from our game. |

Not really. Just seems as though people are willing to tolerate it, saying 'oh well they're drunk.' I know it happens at probably every club, football and rugby. The thing is though, it shouldn't and there should be a proper way to report such behaviour. It's embarrassing and despicable. |

The match report on the Batley website makes it clear who were the better team on the day and that will do me. Re his comments about the ref I would agree with some but not others for eg I think the player who dumped JT on his head should have been binned at least. Maybe Ganson didn't see it.
He gave penalties to Batley I didn't like and when he gave penalties in the the Batley sides favour I bet their fans approved of those. Thats what being a fan does to us.
Whatever anyone who is interested can make their own mind up by watching the game on Blip.tv. Shame we could not have the always unbiased commentary of Dave and Si but wotsit happens sometimes.

It would be good able to read a Leigh biased report for a change when the referee has obviously arrived on the visitors coach. And talking of refs. Ganson made some very dubious decisions both ways again yesterday. Also the winger didn't tackle high before he was sent off - he took a deliberate swing with his fist. It was in front of us.
