Some witty posts on this. As far as I'm concerned, people need to lighten up and grasp some realism. Until this snow clears up adequately then large vehicles are going to have difficulty achieving anything. I live in an apartment and our communal bins are full, as is the compound in which they are stored due to stray binbags. There isnt realy a great deal that can be done though. I mean, nobody can change the weather! So unless theres a way of making a telephone call to God, we may aswell just accept it.

If every body cleared the road outside there own home the back roads would be clear ,problem is ur all bone idol and can't be bothered I suggest you all shut up ,pick up a spade and clear outside your houses yourselves like I have !

Thing is though Padders if you clear the road and footpath outside your house, and somebody slips and injures themselves or there is a car accident, your liable to be sued because we live in a compensation culture. The bizarre twist in the law is, if you and the council do nothing then no one is liable.

Cleared all the snow and ice from the road outside my house, then the little old lady from next door asked me to clear hers....2nd easiest £30 i've ever made.

Just blame the clear up on a freak solar flare that targeted the outside of your house , then its an act of god ! SIMPLES !
