First half - i thought we shaded it, but 2nd half were well in control and scored 3 trires but then seemed to be content to let them try to hit us, which they couldn't.

Hull's attack was fairly ordinary and didn't look like there was a spak - much like both teams in the 1st half.

It is but every time a team (bar the obvious) seems to get a run going this year, they come crashing down. Still only 10 points between 3rd and 12th.

In the days when Sky are telling us it's the closest league for years, it must be a bit of a bugger for Saints to be running away with everything.

Championship form as you put means that your beating champions on a regular basis, thats i how view it anyway. We are on a very good run at the minute and Tony Smith has instilled some steel and a winning mentallity into this club, the next step is to be beating the likes of Leeds and Saints on a regular basis as they are the benchmark.



We are heading in the right direction but its nothing to get carried away with just yet, i still believe it will take Tony Smith at least 3 years to shape his own squad as their will be quite a few players that he inherited where he may feel that they are not upto the job. Anything before then will be a bonus in my opinion.

We beat the champions last year? and have a chance to do so this year? We also beat Leeds in 2005(when they were champs also), we have also beaten Bradford when they have been champs. Showing championship form is exactly what Wires71 said, form that would win you the championship, easy really.
