Just to cheer some of you guys up,there were some surprisingly low crowds at the weekends Premiership Rugby Union:

Wasps v Leicester 5,078.

Exeter v Newcastle 5,405.

Sale v Irish 6547.



Perhaps due to the World Cup being on,so leading players missing or perhaps a sign of the times! The Wasps and Exeter figures would be particularly concerning.

Thats great, do you have many Salford lads in that team or are you still reliant on the Rochdale/Oldham, Saints/Wire and Wigan/Leigh RL playing towns to get a side out?

No academy has 1-17 local born players; we scout players from other areas like everybody else and saints especially good at poaching players.

Do you only have widnes born lads in your academy

Considering we are supposedly getting the scraps from the areas mentioned above, I think that makes the fact that our 18s have had such a good season an even better achievment than if it was all local lads. Wouldn't you agree?
