| Bring it local and share the 7 games over two 'derby' grounds over a weekend . eg . the KR/FC grounds , Rhinos/Bulls grounds , Cas/Wakey , OT/Salford , etc etc , and I might be interested in going .
I bet you could fill every match to capacity if it was local . Far better than a half-empty stadium if a foreign country where nobody gives a fk about RL .
Actually. forget the Cas/Wakey idea . It might not be such a good idea to hold all the games on the same field over two days .
It will wreck the grass .

| My thoughts on this; if this were Union the whole event would be a sell out and as RL fans we would look on enviously at how much better Union is at promoting their game. This is a great idea but the halfd marketing from the RFL and parochial nature of RL fans will mean that it will ultimately fail.
Much more needs to be done to entice the local population. How about giving free entrance to the Hibs and Hearts season ticket holders?

| Have a feeling this will fail spectacularly this year.
Not many people I know enjoyed the trip to Edinburgh. Certainly not in the same way as the trip to Cardiff anyhow.
Newcastle next please.

Good call for Newcastle. Stadium close to the town centre, good night life and more importantly a local club for newbie’s to further any interest gained form attending the event.
Of course the Newcastle Council must be prepared to beat whatever (if) any rival city bid to host the weekend.

| Wil be going again but like many others I don't think it was a patch on the Cardiff experience.
(Having said that, it'll be hard for anything to be a patch on that moment Tansey scored at Cardiff )

| As has been said by quite a few not a patch on Cardiff but i'll still go and make the best of the weekend that I can.
Crusaders getting off to a winning start would help.

| Don't see the attraction and need for RL to be taken to Newcastle myself. There's a presence closeby in Gateshead, which has never really taken off. Rugby Union in the city isn't popular, and it's arguably the most religious football city in the UK.
I'd be very intrigued if it was taken to Dublin or Paris, however...
I suppose the big stumbling blocks on Magic weekends being held in these cities would be extortionate costs for fans.
