Not really bothered who the quotes are from, an assumption is then that the story was pulled because Cummins (at a guess or another party) thought it to be a private matter which was put into the public domain by Macca via the T&A.
Still nothing libelous, and Im glad I read and copyed it before it was pulled as I have no reason not to believe the content and it was an interesting insight with nothing libelous as far as Im aware. |

So there we have it - the Scumster is the RFL's version of Gordon Brown - regardless of the screw-ups down to you or on your watch, never apologise?
Looks to me the issue was not that he admitted the wrong decisions that happened, but that he did not "apologise" for them. Always possible he "regretted" them or similar, of course, and something of the semantics got lost along the way? Be interested to learn who gave the T&A the copy, and what's happened since! |

I had had little time for Cummings since he sent Penguin off against Saints in the 1998 play-offs (subsequently ruled "no case to answer"icon_wink.gif and did not penalise, let alone send off, Aitcheson for his blatant trip on Robbie shortly after. Effectively handed the game to Saints, when we were ahead at the time.

Perhaps you'd like to enlighten me on the quotes that you read that came from Stuart Cummings? The T&A yesterday printed an apology regarding this issue. They deny it themselves so why wouldn't I. You should photocoy that too in the interests of consistency or are you selective in what you believe.
Maybe you should learn the definition of libel. But then again...... |
