It was in the press a few weeks back that Maurie and Leon had been using video editing software to edit a DVD of their performances in order to promote themselves in a bid to get a move to Union.



Maurie denied it, but hasn't signed a new contract either.

Out of contract players try to get good deal? surely not!

I remember a few people saying that they had heard Maurie (and Pryce) were off to Union at the end of there contracts, but i don't remember seeing anything in the press. Maybe we haven't offered him a deal, as of yet.

He doesn't actually need the neck brace anymore, he only had to wear it for a period, he know wears it out of choice, says he feels safe in it

as a 28 year old Australian international, I doubt he is more past it than Gidley.



I do have doubts about his knee - he missed pretty much the whole of 2009 with a recurrence of a previous knee injury - but on the whole I wouldn't be upset to see him at Saints in 2010.

I remember Maurie rubbishing the idea the other week. He said he does'nt know where the rumour started. He has not been using video etc. to promote a video.

If he has been using video to promote a video, who is going to make a video to promote his video promoting video?





I don't think Maurie is going anywhere, but wouldn't be surprised to see Pryce move on. Hope I'm wrong though, still a terrific player on his day.

me too on Pryce - he will be on a big contract at the moment at isnt the same player that we signed, I would expect a substantial pay cut or him to move.
