I dont care if they play the entire u18 team against us tbh as long as we win. The bonus for us if they do pick a crap team is we'll improve our points difference.

Fine by me, lets hope we can counter act Leeds huge score last week and get our points diff back to a whopping 100 it was last week. Nice break awaits the lads after Fridays game, no pressure of wmbers and getting a new suit fitted out, no long distance coach travel and all that build up... just a nice break, maybe go get some sun on theri backs, have a few ales and a boogie, a beach party in ibiza even, who cares, go and rest up and enjoy yerself lads... then come back, knuckle down, take the 2 at Leeds and laugh at the league as we go away with our 5th hubcap even though were rubbish, transitional and full of old gets with no pace.

Can't really blame them, just wonder if the league will step in and give them grief like we suffered last time.



THe other thing is, I'm not sure it benefits the players who miss out on the game.

Probably not - if we did it there would be 300 letters in the League Express from Wigan,Leeds, Bradford fans (mainly Wigan I suspect) crying and calling us cheats and demanding the RL burn us!! Not forgetting the 35 page thread on cherry and white demanding blood.



I'm not sure it out right benefits the players (most of them really dont need 2 weeks rest unless their carrying niggling injuries) but it helps the coach to reduce the chances of key players picking up injuries and missing the final.

Its the wire team I dont get, they did this last week to ( yes i know some had a niggle ), so they look to be taking 7+ players into a wembley final having not played for 3 weeks, may be fresh as daises and fired up, may be a bit out of touch and over awed by teh venue/event and be a let down.



The rfl and the whole of the rl world understand that this sort of event will happen the week before wembley, hope we dont get this fuss every year, even though it is funny to read the dulls and goons get wound up by such antics.

Though of course, last time you did it the rules were changed so the teams are announced before hand...

We have always been a club that has managed to get the RFL to change its rules, we show them the errors of their ways time N time again...

I've got my protest banner prepared already. It's a disgrace and contrary to the spirit of the game.

As the game is being shown live on Sky, I wonder what will be the reaction of Eddie and Stevo if Huddersfield do field a weakened team. They absolutely hammered us when Ian Millward did it.



Lack of respect for the Competition, and for the paying customers (especially for Sky subscribers).



Can't wait to hear what crap they will come up with.
