Tommy Martyn was one of the most over rated players I have ever seen.



Watch his 2002 Challenge Cup final game when he got overplayed and our run by Julian O'Neil.

He defined lazy, and his tackling was a joke.

They didn't play well all the time and both were battered by injuries, but when they clicked, and it happened alot, it was a joy to watch

He should have been a regular for GB.

He ripped Wigan apart loads of times. 9/10 when playing Wigan he had a stormer. Remember his hatrick, of which he scored the winning try at JJB.

He was a top class player but the lack of pace stopped him being world class.



Even though he lacked pace he still scored some 50 meter trys.



I seem to recall him kicking the ball football style against the pies for bout 40 meters but nobody beat him to the line.



Sorry rogues but tommy was the best 6 in super league during his time at saints.
