| Quote Easty="Easty"In the well your down the side of the pitch, It's exactly 100 pennies more expensive then it is to Stand behind the sticks in your West stand.
So is it proportionate to Leeds ticket prices, Yes I think it is.
Horses for courses though as our seating tickets are far cheaper then yourselves. You can turn up on a matchday and sit in our new stand for £25, £23 if you buy in advance or if a 2015 member buys your ticket it's only £22. Your new stand is £32 on a matchday and £30 if you buy in advance.'"
Yeah wasn't having a pop, just commenting on how prices have rocketed in recent years. Really boils my p1ss this extra charge if you don't buy pre game.

| Agree with that about prices increasing if you don't buy before the game.
It goes up by about £5 at Elland Road on match day

| It's not a price increase on the day, it's a discount for buying in advance.
Getting the money into the club's coffers early.

| With clubs like Leeds and HKR travelling in big numbers to away matches and buying tickets in advance via their own outlets give a lot of revenue to their respective clubs, and long may this last. I think away teams still receive 10% all ticket sales IIRC.

They do, yes.
As for the seating allocation, thinking back to last year, home fans make up the majority of the seat ticket sales, with the Rhinos fans tagged on either end, and the remainder standing. So I don't think the allocation is massive. It also doesn't make for a great atmosphere.

Shouldn't it be 12 drummers drumming?

| Last time I went to KR, I seem to recall Gareth Stephens scored a winning try for Leeds in a poor game. A player who IMO never fulfilled the promise he showed when he first made the 1st team
Think I recall a massive cock up by Vince Fawcett, and he was taken off
Good old Dougie might have been coach?

| Yes, Dougie was coach. Fawcett was running the ball out from his own sticks and dropped it clean (IIRC), letting Hull KR score what was seemingly the winning try, only for (again IIRC) Andy Gregory, in one of the very few good things he did in a Leeds shirt, set up Gareth Stephens for the actual winner.
I believe Dougie made some comment regarding the Fawcett incident along the lines of 'If I'd had a gun, I'd have shot him.'
Regarding Stephens, it may be a terrace nonsense, but didn't we take him instead of Jason Robinson?

Could be worst for RL fans. Man Utd fans with season tickets are being forced to buy tickets (at around £50 a pop) for the cup reply against 4th tier Cambridge or face having their season ticket suspended for the next home league game against Sunderland.
