Yes, joking aside, I don't know much about it but from the Louis Theroux documetary I saw a couple of years ago it's a pretty committed sport to be involved in with the potential for some serious injury.



It is entertainment as well and no doubt the bits that are funny are meant to be funny.

There was a famous story of Tazz getting a rather nasty head/neck injury and when asked by the PMT's if he wanted treatment he waved them away and went home.

He later went to A+E (or whatever the American term is) with complaint that his neck had started to feel worse.

After having numerous tests done it fell to the Doctors to tell him that not only had he broken his neck but that they had no idea how he was walking!!

He want back to wrestling as soon as he could.



You have to be very tough to even try it and have a fair bit of crazy to keep doing it.

After reading through this thread and looking at the wimps on the website, I have decided to ditch my 2-nights a week slot at the Aria in Vegas, and become a wrestler.



My name shall be Barnabus the Baron of Battle. I will wear a costume similar to the one I normally wear, but made with fighting in mind. I imagine it'll look abit like Apollo Creed's Uncle Sam costume in Rocky.
