Think the answer this time is we know Hull Fc are offering silly money on a 3yr contract and that Saints have offered a lot more money for a 2yr contract.

Well he did all in 4 years while at the club.

Just adapting to the current restrictions and circumstances I guess. More kids will get a chance earlier, but also players in their mid-30s will be better placed to get an extra year or two.

Well this one isn't an injury prone player who is past his best.

All public sources are indicating that the competing contract - whoever it may be with - is 'substantially' larger than the one on offer from FC and for one year less as well. Given that the FC offer would make him one of the highest earners at a club spending full cap, I'd say that 'silly money' is about spot on myself.

I really think that, whatever the outcome, Willy (or his agent) should let us all know what the decision is. Much as we all are big fans of his, he is losing a lot of support by this constant delay.
