Ohhh I dunno, putting Richard Horne on Seniors wing was a bit of a miss-shape, and made an FC player look 'average'. (pretty sure this was one of Nobbys choices)
Just have a read of Longys book too. He didnt rate the GB Coaching set-up under Nobby.
I still think that if the players respect the coach....which they do, then keep him. Knee-jerk reactions at this stage are just gonna cause mor unrest! |

Why do you think the players still respect him? They are hardly likely to go public with criticism of their coach are they.

The board accepted a 12th place finish in 2009 so I doubt they'll be doing anything about agar any time soon. Still, I'm sure we'll be much better NEXT season

Agar has been saved by the franchise era of SL.
He would not have survived the threat of relegation to the Club.
The Board have gambled and as of yet it has not paid off. I know it won`t happen but I would like to see Agar with a high profile DOR. Someone with clout and respect within the game, here and in Australia.
At the moment Rich is out of his depth .

I believe Longy's version of events on that tour (and not just cos he's an FC player now!) A genius like Longy had the RL world to show off to, playing against the Aussies for GB is one of a players dreams.....But Brian Noble and his coaching staff and their 'methods' made this genius SH wanna 'just go home' cos the team weren't prepared.
I think a lot of you are clutching at straws to think that Nobby could turn Hull FC around. We aint Bradford and we are definately not an 'on its ass waiting to be rescued Wigan'. We'll come good. Its a really bad start, but I see an even better finish this year!

Surely you can see that the opinion of a scrum half is worth more than that of a prop. peacock has lost a lot of credibility since he moved from 2nd row. If you really want the inside track talk to a full back, or chewie. Either way you'll get the same amount of sense |
