Seems to me he wants/needs the KC stadium to help fund his dream and just wants HCC to simply hand it over as a contribution to his sports village!! Then he'll turn round and say the sport village is no longer viable due to the level of ASBO's etc and sit there laughing as he has got a £50M stadium for sweet f.a.



If it is a gift to the City why do the Council need to make a contribution?? His gift to the city spiel is just bo!!ox as proved by his 'I dont want to build an extension on a rented house'. HCC have even said they would look at extending the stadium if they got to a level where it was sustainable and viable to do so.



Let him take his ball home and build a Stadium in Melton as my guess is that won't happen either.

he'd never get planning permission, the land is prime for housing too.

I might be a lone voice from the Rovers supporter base, but I'm 100% behind the council on this. Allam comes across as a total nutjob. Why on earth should our elected councillors give away the most expensive asset they own?

Thats not what he said. He said that he asked Rovers to move to the KC (past tense). Hudgell said no. This was before the £1million quid loan.
