Isnt there a limit to how much time a Mod can spend on the board.....we

know 2 are hardly for what ever reasons and i still believe a mod should attend matches and not mod from a distance.

I don't see attending matches as an issue, I think being fair and beyond reproach is necessary.

Why should a mod attend matches? Is the AUP printed in the programme? Or read out at half time?

How about when we discuss a match thread and a mod who hasnt been cant surely comment on what they havent seen....doesnt stop them though.

Considering my language on match days I'm glad it's not or I'd be under even more scrutiny!!!

As far as I'm aware the mods are to moderate and make sure the AUP isn't breached.



If people stopped commenting on things they haven't seen this would be a quiet place.

I dont comment on away match treads if i havent been as listiening on radio doesnt help (not that i bother listening to Radio Aussie).

Why give up? I'm not sure what your point is?

My point is...how can a mod moderate a thread they have no idea about what has gone on....someone could say something about said match and the mod could delete post but the said incident did take place.



All im saying it helps if Mods can attend games.



My word...never thought being bored on a Sat afternoon could be so fun.

The only time a mod would delete a post would be if the post contained something that could get the site into trouble. Speculation on an event which may or may not have taken place and could lead to a police investigation would have to be deleted for example. The mod being present or not would not change the fact that the post would have to be deleted.



As I said to JTP last night, no moderation would've had this site shut down years ago.
