Since all stats are gathered under the same circumstances they are an accurate method of comparison between players - especially players on the same team. People like to ignore or dismiss stats that don't back up their own biased assessment of a player, as this thread demonstrates rather clearly.

Again - he plays big minutes. That said I do see your point - stats can be used to tell different stories about any player.

Holdsworth is the one player who disappointed me. Miller is a kid brought over here for his potential, you kind of expect him to struggle with the occasion. Holdsworth is our leader and was just as bad, if not worse than the others.

Correct he was in our top 3 with Whiting and Heremaia - Shaul did his very best in his 6th first team game. Briscoe is leaving so some fans can't give him any credit any more.
