DH isn't good enough. He spends to much time trying to smash it home hard, rather than concentrate more on accuracy. Example: the game on May 10th against Wakey, he missed a sure bet right infront of the sticks (south stand end), all because he decided to stick more Power behind it! That is a fact, not fiction.

He continued to miss sure bets since.



As I said previously, he's good for hull other than that and indeed his infield kicking game is spot on.



As we saw a couple of years ago with a tickle kick far on left wing about 40 yards out, goal kicks/penalty kicks can be match winners or as exampled last night, match losers! Regardless of whether or not the rest of the plays are good, bad or indifferent. A scrappy win is better than any sort of defeat!

Crookes was off last night but he was excellent prior to injury. Not played much in a long time.

Also 9times out of 10 if the balls coming straight down on you the guy with a run ups gonna get the ball.

Generally I like crookes, tough kid n fast.

Has to get off the ground and challenge though and not just run past with his hand in the air. He shouldn't be written off yet he does have a strong carry and decent pace.

We have been spoilt in recent years with Tickle being Mr TWO POINTS ADDED and I do not blame last nights loss on goalkicking.



Face it we where aweful, Cas wanted it more,a bad day at the office, deal with it and move on.

Foster just signed a 2 year deal with bradford

Good as it means we won't be signing him.

Apart from his goal kicking and plenty of enthusiam, he offers nothing imo. Not real speed, no power or agility. Hence why he's at a average club like Bradford now.



I'm not a fan of Crookes, but would still rather have him over Foster. Atleast JC has speed and for a little guy is pretty strong. That been said, I wouldn't want JC as a first choice winger next season.

He certainly got a move on in his little run down the wing last night in the 2nd half. He looked really quick.

They are currently average, a bit like ourselves, although their record of honours in the SL era alone blows us well and truly out of the water.

What they have won in the past has nothing to do with the current team. Foster is an average player at an average club. We're not much better but we need to be aiming higher than Jamie Foster.

That's alright then.

An easy 2 points to chalk up against Foster and Bradford at Odsal in a few weeks.

My comment regarding Foster was just a sarcastic one.. He is good at Goal Kicking so thought i'd throw his name in there..



Although i have heard Miller a decent Goal kicker but many others have posted.
