I think we have yet to see the best of Westerman. he is better played as a second row but needs good ball to work with. His attitude improved massively last year and was a notable leader on the pitch in defence and being vocal. I have no problem with all 5 been in the 17, Ellis, Ticks, Westerman, Whiting and Galea. |

I went for Crookes initally as Lineham had the bad injury and I don't want him rushed back, once Lineham gets in he might not get shifted. The potential he has is massive, I think he could be as good as Briscoe and Hall.
I also wonder if we will go with one prop off the bench (Ogre) and have two back rowers with Tickle having a spell at prop.

I've gone with Crookes over Lineham due to Tom's injury. Arundel over Crooks to start with for me. I'd like to see Galea play 13 as his extra handling skills will help the halves although there is a case for him being off the bench due to his age. I can't choose between Westerman and Whiting. I also don't see a place initially for Horne unless we only go with one prop off the bench which might be an option I guess.
I have also not included some other players such as Green and Pitts who did well last year.
