Forget all that stuff. Sitting here in the 2005 shirt - still the best shirt Hull have ever produced - A CLASSIC

The 2008 shirt is better, the circa 1983 one better still. Anything from 1980 back is a proper rugby shirt

But yet we got horrendous stick over the Pinkgate saga.

Mine going back tomorrow.......Not been able to wear it for a few weeks. It had its first wash and the transfers decided they liked the washing machine...and stayed in there. The V's turned a very slight grey too!......Its a pity though....cos its a great design.

Just for the record.....YES...I did wash it correctly, but I reckon the price of replica shirts should also include the fact that you can wash 'em without worry. I'm sure this problem will be resolved for next year!

Was in the shop today and saw the ones with the patch sewn on over the P&O badge. Looks cr4p. Big mistake one someone's part this one. Glad I didn't buy one for myself although my lad's won't last long

Bad move going to cotton material for this year`s shirts.

The transfers look cheap and as people are now finding fall off!

I think the club must have listened to the dozen people on here who constantly moaned about wanting a cotton shirt and assumed it was the general concensus.

Is it likely to be the material that's the problem though? Only AFAIK a few other Hull cotton shirts have been made the last few years (e.g. by Exito and Retro Rugby), and never seen or heard of any fading etc. Maybe it's a problem at ISC's end like we had with Kooga?



Not having a go at ISC obviously, just saying it seems strange because Hull themselves were selling an irregular hooped retro a year or two ago, so you'd have thought any difficulties with cotton would have arisen then maybe?

Or the dozen or so that are moaning on this thread dont represent the thousands of shirts that are absolutely fine?

Simple answer.....dont buy one.
