| I don't know if anyone else saw it, but SSN were talking to an academic football finance specialist earlier, talking about what the implications are surrounding relegation and survival. He said as well as City pocketing another 30 million, the local economy will benefit to the tune of 40 million.
That's right, 40 million bones 
Of course, some of you more embittered jealous types will be along to strongly refute this fact and dismiss it as "Bo!!ocks", etc., but seeing as this was a bloke with letters after his name, and posessing half a brain, i'll choose to believe him |

Doubt that will apply to Hull.
Difference between Prem and Championship gates is an average of about 6000, made up of mainly away fans. These are bussed to the ground, then bussed straight back out.
The extra 6000 fans in the stadium will hardly make a difference to the city of Hull itself.
The only winners are the shareholders of City who will see the massive difference of income.
Oh and i have letters after my name too!  |
