However James Smailes has been on tonight to inform people Hull currently have 1 more place available for next year, 2 if the dont renew Motu's contract.
I have read with interest that the opinion on here seems to be we only have 6 places (max 5 Aussies). The only evidence I can find to back this up is Wiki (which lets be honest is not really that reliable)
Smailes statement would also back up Rule's E mail to a poster saying we are not at full Quota, and also other's claims we are currently in talks with a big overseas Centre.
Anybody else had any further info on this one as its causing me sleepless nights now.

I recieved James Rules' E-mail and it was 100% genuine. He is certain that we have at least one spare quota place. I have E-mailed him twice since then but I have not recieved a reply in almost a week. I explained to him that neither I nor many other fans understand our current quota situation and that we would appreciate a little, albeit brief, clarification but he has not responded.
I'll be surprised and disappointed if I don't even get the basic courtesy of a reply !!! |

I listened to Radio Humberside tonight too. Manu doesn't count on quota as he qualifies for residency. Motu won't be here which means we have ONE quota spot left. If Moa signs thats us full. If we sign someone else Moa has to go.

I think I asked a difficult question, since they either have to admit that they've changed the rules without telling anyone or that the information they've released previously is just plain wrong.  |

look how long that took with Webster though
i'd rather we gave Moa a chance than waste months chasing after Visa's passports etc for months. We wasted loads of time building our squad with the Carvell, Dykes and Webster situations last season and that left us with Thorman! |
