Been shocking so far. Only 7800 at shudds tonight, including a big contingent from leeds, wire scraped 10k to see them lift the league leaders shield, only 7000 leeds fans at headingley last week and a meagre 12k for wigan v saints.
Is it a sign of the economic times or is everyone just bored of the play offs? Always seem to remember us having good crowds at the KC for play off games

we did for leeds, but you will find the vast majority of stay aways are normally pass holders who don't want to pay for tickets |

From what I am understanding of the previous board - the numbers of attendees at the games didn't reflect the overall investment in the team for the following season.
Basically regardless of how successful the team were at the end of the season the budgets appear to have been capped for the following season - lack of investiment

Not that I post much on here but, out of curiosity, does the club offering the deal have to pay the difference to keep in with the spirit of the shared pot?
Eg: If the regular prices are 2 x adults = £40, 2 x kids = £20 and they get a free kids tickets family deal for £40, would the club have to pay for the "missing" £20?
Maybe they expected bigger crowds and, should the above be the case, didn't wish to foot the bill when wanting a cut of the total? |
