You'll have to ask him i dont know what he's reffering to, although the hudds game is seen as an important one in the fans eyes. At a rough guess those that came on the field to recieve applause there were 20-30 people at a guess. Credit to those men, women and children.

I'm always baffled why some fans, generally Shudds, refer to these games as Derby games. Would think that only Cas and Fev could be classed as 100% our local Derby games. The Leeds games have a long stading tradition of being a Derbys but with the gulf in class between our two sides these days means it's lost its competative edge.

Shudds is just a grudge match due to Super League history.

about 1,200 Wakey fans according to what i've heard - the club were expecting 1,500 but it was less than wot they were expecting apparently

Just short of 2k according to steward who went and found out - who said himself was more than what they expected

at the end of the day 7 1/2 k is a respectable crowd and is improving for huddersfield

At the end of the day, it doesn't matter how many went. All that matters is getting people into Belle Vue and the revenue that generates!

40 give or take maybe did not count them. I personally did not want to walk round the pitch and told Snowie but as the lady had already taken my ticket I had no option. But I will say this that when we approached our fans and there was a lot of them I can tell you, each and everyone of them stood up and applauded and cheered, a very humbling experience indeed and one I am glad I did not miss.

Wishy i've been going there since the built the bloody stadium and have been in that stand dozens of times and i can guess to within a few how many turned up.



Clubs can release whatever figures they like but that does not make it so, and yes i know you have some inside info mate but i ain't stupid (well a bit ) Every game at Hudds the away fans feel that the figures talked about are too low, they can't all be wrong and thats fair play to the Hudds marketing people for managing the figures.
