We would all love it to happen overnight like an Ikea flatpack, but it's not going to happen.



As aforementioned you only get one opportunity to build it and get the right mix of facilities.



After all, you're the ones going to be using it, shouldn't you have a say in what you'll be paying for in essence? Or how it looks? I think giving the fans an opportunity to have thier view ensures you get what the local community wants in it. After all, getting what the fans want can only increase attendances and make sure there is a good income stream.

Fully, what have your club opted to do? Let the fans design the stadium, or choose their favourite option from the architects' proposals? Genuine question - I haven't seen the proposal.



Both seem nice ideas, but are they not just stalling for time? You'll take what you're given, won't you? Just like we will. Seems a lot of hot air to me.

To sum it up mate, basically:



They've narrowed it down to four architects. The club will choose from which of these 4 architects they'll have to build the stadium. This will be done by the middle of December.



They will then use the designs created by said architects and put them up in the centre we have got at Xscape so that fans can see. The club will be present there to liaise with fans about the plans and discuss what they would like to see in it/what they tihnk of the designs.



They will then use this to make changes if needed and create the full planning permission application which will be submitted by April.



It should then take 12 weeks for a reply which take us to July/August and then we can start building.

Alot of questions to be answered on both ground developments, can we all give it a rest?, good luck to both...but its getting

IMO it's window dressing! You need a ground first and foremost, then you make it home, ok we can learn from others mistakes, but the ground is what matters, without it were both knackered, all this from ou (cas') is just pr, and possibly more delay tactics!!

The good folk of cas' think they are being included but as we saw with the documentries over the bridge etc, you will be mostly ignored and you will get 99.9% of what the architects sugest!

Don't be upset by that because realisticly if we both want a future in SL it is all that matters!!!

Oh, I think we all know it's what the architects design is what we'll get. But nevertheless an input from the fans is fundamental to achieving good attendances IMO.

the thing is the general public in the main are thick as mince and have unrealistic expectations. i'd want them kept well away from having any input to be honest
