Watching the St's v Cas game at home, the score flashed up 6-18, Eddie's comment were Trinity were hanging on! People at the game may be able to say otherwise but a 28-6 looks relatively comfortable.

Especially when Finny didn't have his kicking boots on tonight, though tbf most from what I could make out were from the touchline area, which at Hul KR this time of year is a very hard kick.



Anyway, I'll be eager to catch up and watch the game on Trinity TV when it pops up.

Sorry to hear that FT, also good look to you and you lad tomorrow, hope he has a blinder mate.

KR had their best and probably only decent spell of the game in the 20 minutes after half time and if they had managed to get a second score things could have got interesting.

Johnstone will rightly get the plaudits and his third try was as good a finish as you will see all season, to get the ball down in the corner with three defenders around him and all whilst airborne, was an absolute beauty.

But, Trinity's defence won the game.

On the back of a mullering in the penalty count, Wakefields defence was excellent.



All in all a good night, 2 points, Johnstone looking really sharp (with some excellent defence to match his try scoring efforts) and still plenty to work on.

HKR were putting three men on Johnstone trying to give him some heavy treatment. Think it'll be a long year from HKR.

It was a very solid performance last night for a season opener

Credit to Hull KR they really gave it there all too, if we'd have being more careful with the penalties KR would have barely made it in to our half

Just watched the Cas game and I too heard Eddies comment about Wakefield "hanging on". What a biased !

6 tries tells the true story but Finn's off form hides it.

Eddy just can not help himself. His obvious dislike for Wakefield spills out when ever he gets the opportunity. I don't think he goes out of his way to be disrespectful it just comes naturally.
