On his day Neil Fox was world record points scorer and played in fabulous team that got us to Wembley 3 years out of 4 but that does not mean if he played in the centre we would be any better.....hang on a minute....where is his phone number ! |

I think most of the posts are not fair, Cooke was a direct replacement for the drug cheat ! then guess what, he is now been thrown in to replace him, and Brough.
Cooke may well be under performing, but no more than the board who again have failed to replace Tronc, Brough, Newton, ect, and with the looks of Morrison out long term, I cant see a bright near future.

Thats an awful comparison. Cooke is a current proffesional player who should be at the peak of his career. Neil Fox has been retired for over 30 years. |

Great post. Brough and BJ were the perfect duo IMO. One authorative 7 and one easy going 6 who played a bit wider. Our form shows this was a good blend. Cooke is a old style player who can only pass and kick. He aint athletic by no means and does not want to work in defence. This style of player is like a yorkshire league half and has no place in SL. Cooke has not played well for years and the style of play he brings is outdated IMO. |

Thats fair comment and i don't for one minute expect him to replace both those players, maybe one would be a start though. |

doubt it,cooke is no hooker.kear is going on past history with him,as when we won the cc a few years back he was outstanding.he's never been the same since he left us for the darkside,and his off-field antics in hull are public knowledge   .seems to have put on tons of fat aswell |
