Why not? Without being offensive its a bit of a silly point you are trying to make. That is what he is there for, give the man credit for looking for extra work its counter productive to hide behind the other players not take on extra resonsibilities, whether he is capable of holding his place on merit is a different argument but to question his commitment to the club and his team mates is rather small minded just because he spilled the ball a couple of times.

WTF are you on about 50% of the time. 205 carries 19 errors not even 10%. Obst has made more errors than jd yet its never mentioned about his error count and tesco has made 12 errors from 3 less games than jd but he is a hero. I,m not knocking any of those players and jd i,m sure would say himself he needs to be better with his ball control. Jd is also 16th tackle bust in league and jsut outside top 25 metres in league which i,m sure he will climb into after this week. JD is at back end of his career and people are looking for anything they can get to slate him, which i feel is a disgrace after the service he has given to our club. he has been very good in recent weeks and is still a major player in our team. everyone goes on about hendo great workrate, jd is miles ahead yet its never mentioned. he needs to sort his errors out but is still offering alot out on the field.

the guys work rate and commitment is phenomenal. he is still a good player with a lot to offer. if i was jk, for those reasons alone he would be the first name on the team sheet. imo the best captain in sl.

The fact that you suggest it us better for him not to take the ball up. I can't see why you don't see the problem with that suggestion.

I'll bet i know one Wakey player who will be unhappy with the mistakes he makes, he happens to be one who cares deeply about the club and the team and the supporters.

Despite any errors, I would bet that we perform better as a team when he is in it, because of his commitment to the cause and the regard in which he is held within the camp. He seems like a pretty decent bloke, and if he didn't sign next year, I bet we will be poorer for it. There's more to a team than what you do with the ball.
