I know its in all supporters interest to get as many signatures as possible, and it was great to see the Directors out on the pitch to encourage this, but why don't the club give some sort of "incentive" / competition.

It wouldn't mean a lot, and would cost next to nothing, could could generate a lot of signatures, by, for example offering the person who collects the most valid signatures a free season ticket for next year / a place amongst the directors in the stand for the first season in the new stadium??



Think we need to keep this petition fresh in everyones mind.



People are sick of me asking them at work, but I don't care - over 100 so far, only needs another 100 to do the same and we're in - lets go for 100,000 signatures, and then the planning department will really sit up and listen.

Main problem is that this is a SWAG petition - even if the club are obviously supporting it.



Financial rewards may be seen as compromising the validity of the petition.

called into the shop today , got my tickets for saturday, it was quite busy. saw half a dozen people served, not one was asked to sign the petition. surely the shop is one of the main places to attract signatures. couldn't yourself or someone on the committee bring this to their attention

Is there anywhere in Stanley where we could get signatures, seeing as that is nearest to where the Stadia is to be build and where the opposition is going to come from. A few thousand signatures from there may just shut the opposition up.

I have got most of mine for the rangers age group and hope others are doing it too, we quite a few from the stanley area, one that didn't like the area and I just said would you prefer a another pit

Not been in the shop for some time, but is there a poster or something up to make people aware there is a petition that they can sign in the shop?

Perhaps they had already signed it

Could we contact all local Clubs, we have contacts as most, if not all of the play-off teams in the Championship & Championship 1 - March twins etc. A shame the regular season is over for most of them unfortunately.



We could also try all the local teams in the National Conference Leagues, there are plenty in the Wakefield area, I`m sure they would all support a Community Stadium which could possibly become a venue for local finals games in the future, and quite a few of them are coached part time by current & ex-professionals.

Been in the shop this morning, there are two clipboards on display one as you go through the door and one on the counter. Both are impossible to miss so therefore no excuse for not signing. Unless you have two broken arms.

Good, as long as there is something visible on show for people to sign can have no complaints.
