Seems that Barnsley is still an option with an agreement signed that can still be taken up.
Does this mean that the rumour that the RFL didn't want us moving out of Wakey is true, hence why BV is being renovated?

| Not all planning permission requests have to go to the committee, in fact most don't! Most are dealt with what they call delegated powers, powers that planners legally have to approve planning applications if certain conditions are met. Otherwise the planning committee would have to sit at least one day a week... which they can't! I think that this will be looking at dealing with this under delegated powers, but if not possible, it will breeze through the committee, there is nothing that is going to effect anyone or anything in any way at all.

| Dont get this? I thought BV was due to be ripped down at the end of the season regardless as the planners that owned it wanted to build and the ground was condemmed due to a lack of safety certificate (as was the case with KR) - Seems a bit strange to me that your now stopping?

| Is this not the case in this instance?:
"If a temporary structure or building will be in use for longer than 28 days, then according to the law, you should apply for planning permission"

| You thought wrong. And if it didn't have a safety certificate we wouldn't be able to play in it now!

Yes of course! How silly of everyone else involved to forget that it's been condemned and is due to be ripped down at the end of the season.
Thanks for reminding us - back to the drawing board chaps!

I thought that was the case - is it not? I thought you playing out of there in 2012 was not an option as the developers who own the ground wanted you out and you werent able to get a further safety certificate?

Is this wakey paying lip service to the licencing criteria though - errect a temporary stand for 28 days, get the licencing re-stampped, then apply for retrospective planning. If it has to come down wakey then wont be bothered because their licence is stamped for another 3 years and you will just continue to play out of a ground that is not SL standard. IMHO if your serious about wanting to remain in SL you need to pull your finger out and get your new ground sorted and accept a year at barnsley as saints have done at widnes!

Well that's easy for you to say, but I don't think the north terrace vole and bat colonies will see it quite the same way!

When you don't know what you're talking about its common practice to shut the proverbial up!
If you want the answers to your questions get trawling the board. They are all on here somewhere, enjoy.
