Lillycrop was a real stand out junior when he came into the bradford academy team at 16. George burgess and him were the starting props for the academy in their first full seasons in the academy with tom burgess coming off the bench. I think due to the burgess name and their sheer height the bulls tried to concentrate on developing them more than Lillycrop who is a fair bit shorter than the twins and in the end he has never really had a fair crack at the first team squad. Hopefully he goes well at Wakefield as he seemed a good lad and definitely has the ability if given the right opportunity.

In many ways that sounds a lot like the Ryan Atkins story.

The guy had a good game last night and looks a promising player.

Looked a smaller version of Kieron Cunningham,well played young un.

Always looked a very good prospect his only problem he hasn't seemed to grow much these last few years.

He's bigger than Cunningham though I grant you he's not as chunky. He is smallish for a prop in this day of the monster player but he is six foot so I can live with that.

With the number of subs coming down props are likely to come down in size a bit so he may find it won't be a handicap being on the small side in future. He looked a great prospect a few years ago for us. Good luck to him.

It's just that you said smaller which I took for height not that KC was a dwarf. The rest I'd take as a positive advantage.
