Southern is a 15 stone second row playing predominantly against 17 stone plus props and appears to be ineffective.

Amor is back next week and to freshen up the front row he should be partnered with James (give the lad a chance or get rid surely). Wilkes, Raleigh and Lauititi on the bench with Ellis if Aiton is injured.
Start with Wood at 9 for recognition of his form and put Johnson at loose forward for some additional go forward and size in the pack, he played there last season for a game if I remember rightly and didn't look out of place (drop Washbrook).
Is the rumour about Fielden coming on loan true?

He would add some experience to the pack.
