He now says that he understands that we are going to share a stadium with Cas at Glasshoughton under the auspices of Wakefield Council because sense has prevailed due to there not been enough in the investment pot for two stadiums.



As I understand it we have the investment just need the planning permission and Cas is supposedly privately funded - yet more lazy journalism from this idiot.



This his is second article full of ignorance to the facts in the last few weeks regarding us and stadium plans. TRB, surely now is the time to respond to him with a few of the facts

I don't believe a word he says, but just thought that two what could be deemed negative articles towards our plans at Newmarket might merit some form of informed response - especially as we all know that there are fans of other clubs out there who like nothing better than to seize upon anything negative re Wakey

I think you saw the response in the press release last week - i.e. the plans to dramatically imporve the facilities on offer at Newmarket!

Oh I know tricky. I just doesn't make sense either way it doesn't make sense. Cas allegedly can't get funding themselves and us as a club on it's own couldn't afford to put towards it goin to xcape. The council wouldn't build it I doubt so that's a none starter. Whereas our partnership with yorkcourt have the funding ready. If anything it would be the other way round
