i had a phone call last night from the stadium informing me of the ticketing arrangement.

great idea imo....remind the season ticket holders



downside was i got 3 more later for 3 other season ticket holders in my house.

i think they could sort by numbers to save a few bob on the calls.



anyone else had these calls?

or was it just someone trying to annoy me

I've had them in the past but not recently.

I got a call.

I got 1 last night as well.

Yes, me too, as did my lad who is also a season ticket holder.

As a Saints fan I was rather suprised to get a call with a message from Joel Tomkins advertizing the "Big One" when you played Leeds a few months back!

Probably cos I'd bought my Maundy Thursday ticket from your ticket office over the phone due to Saints having none left.

These recorded message calls are a flaming nuisance. I had one last night at home, and found one today as a voicemail message on my business phone.



It should be possible to opt out of them.



They always say "it's (so and so) calling from Wigan WARRIORS," which immediately gets my back up anyway.



Then they go on about tickets for an upcoming game, which I have usually already got or asked someone to get for me.



Extremely annoying.

Later on in the message it says if you wish to unsubscribe press 9

Get a grip It’s a phone call. If you don’t like it just put I down no one forces you to answer it or listen to it either.



I’d rather receive 10 calls in a day and know the club are trying things rather than get none at all.



I actually quite like the calls and I know some friends who have little kids say it makes the kids day when they think their heroes are ringing them.

Fully agree. They can ring me everyday if they want.

i didnt get Sean o loughlin or Joel Tomkins this time just some guy with a voice that sounds more accustomed to doing Adverts for Findus Crispy Pancakes or Injury Lawyers 4u.

It reminded me to get my west stand tickets sorted so fair enough i say
