There have been cases of this being used as an excuse, but it rarely works (Ian Sibbit being the latest exception, overusing the drug Salbutamo found in asthma inhalers).



Jaap Stam tried it on when he was tested positive for Nandrolone a few years back, stating that traces of it were found in a 'Vicks' style vapour stick he was using to help nasal congestion!

On a given Sat night in Wigan there are about 65% using it.



We're in the minority. It's become comment place, players, like everyone else don't seem to see it as such a big deal.



This isn't my take on it, but we have to be realistic.

What has the players talent got to do with this?



And why do you want more players to do it?

Is it beyond Sport England and the RFL to do a shake down of every SL player if there are rumours flying around? I'm guessing the resources required and potential fall out would be too great? I know it's potentially tarring everyone with the same brush, but it'd sure send out a message. Drugs and professional sport don't mix.

If so many people are aware of numerous player behaving like this, why don't they just test every player in SL catch the lot of them?



It's looking like he'll quite rightly get the book thrown at him, any other players who have behaved in the same way will be cacking it now, but will probably be looking at ways of masking it as mentioned, and then once it's all blown over in a couple of months they'll be back to there old tricks.

Thats what they have the drug testing for.

It's rife within the game mate.

Get real. They have drug tests, the players make sure they are clean for when the tests come round. Thats how it works.
