It's good for SL in Wales IMO.



Regardless of peoples opinions of RU Thomas has been a great player over a significant period of time. He's always been the model pro never afraid 2 stand up and be a leader.



He's a real Welshman for a start and also a Welsh sporting legend meaning it will give the Welsh public someone 2 get behind and relate with.

Cant understand why Catalan arent kicking to his wing??? Not once!

It's the lack of first choice HB's IMO. When they played us they struggled for direction and they are missing Bosc big time.

I don't like his carry, it's dangerous. He's going to get hurt.

Good footballer in open space but not an RL player. If he was 7 years younger then he would have a chance. It's a bit too much to learn at 35.

Needs to work on his body position in contact looked to be hunting the ground rather than driving into the contact and looking to bust, very much a unionism, promising debut thus far looked hungry and on the 1 occasion he did stand tall in contact took some putting down.



Hope he comes back in the second spell, after a rest and a bit of hopefully someone coaching him on his drive.

He looked like he had been in a car crash when he was helped off, i only caught him getting helped off on SSN. Welcome to rugby league

He took the ball in twice and couldnt handle it.

To be fair to him he did spend a good few times out in union with major head trauma because he was too brave trying to find the deck to get the ball back in impossible situations.



Nothing he has not experienced before but hopefully with a bit of good coaching not something he will have to go through too often again.



So basically he is screwed given the staff at Crusaders.

Dont talk daft, he took it in a good few times and as I expected went hunting for work, the issue is his body position. Its not a matter of being able to "handle it" Ronny Gibbs would have been in a bad way had he ever carried the ball into contact like that.
